WASHINGTON (Reuters) 08/01 - The idea that
patients with rheumatoid arthritis have overactive immune systems could be
completely backward, researchers from the Mayo clinic said on Tuesday -- something
that would force a
re-think of how the condition is treated. (current treatment
suppresses the immune system) This news concurs with
our patent written in 1997.
Parkinson's Linked to Residential Pesticide
Use
ALL
autoimmune disorders are variations of the same theme.
They
are NOT the body attacking itself.
The body is slowly and painfully dying from poisons exceeding its capacity to
detoxify. The evidence abounds in the
scientific literature,
but is being ignored and wrongly interpreted as
"the
body attacking itself."
This is the greatest blunder of modern medicine.
There is hope, a future without pain, and an economical path that can change
your life and put you back in control.
How
could modern medicine be so wrong about this? Click
here to read about the July 26, 2000 JAMA report on US medicine pinpointing
the third leading cause of death in the US as doctors (and their pharmaceuticals).
This report ranks American health, with the highest medical costs in the
world, 12th of 13 in parameters studied. The
report specifically states these are conservative figures counting only deaths,
not including unnecessary illness, pain, discomfort, or permanent
disability. In other words,
our expensive system is in a shambles and does not support health.
What
ever happened to the prime directive of "First, Do No Harm"?
Economics
is a major part of the problem. Autoimmune patients (asthma, allergies,
fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, lupus +75 more) require constant medical care and
medications to relieve their symptoms to any degree. Since 1 in 5 Americans has an autoimmune disorder, this is a huge and ever expanding market
as the baby boomers age.
Fibromyalgia
patients usually take 3-7 prescription medications Multiply this figure by the 6-10 million people, mostly women, suffering from
the disease and it is easy to see there is NO economic incentive to find the
true cause of the disease. When one adds in the millions of dollars in
grants for research which would cease if the answer were found, it becomes
obvious we are in a money-driven system that must condemn any truth that
challenges their monopoly. It is in the system's best financial interest
to keep us sick. This is consumer fraud at the basest, most personal level
which is brutally obvious in the JAMA report linked above.
All
medications prescribed for fibromyalgia carry warnings (read the package inserts or the PDR) and
need to be metabolized out
of the body further stressing detoxification pathways. Most have no
clinical basis for use in fibromyalgia. In the next few weeks
we will
publish a review of all the work done on fibromyalgia in the last year-which at
first glance has hit a new low with numerous papers proposing a psychiatric
cause. This is modern equivalent of the Middle Ages diagnosis of demons
- and equally appalling. Mainstream medicine has made no progress in the
years since fibromyalgia was defined and in my opinion has gone backwards. I
am very glad I no longer suffer from the condition and don't have to put up with
this dart board approach.
Fibromyalgia and CFS are real, not imagined. Drawing the conclusion
this is a psychiatric problem is not the work of healers. It is lazy
medicine.
Compounding
this is the current system of peer review. If one wants their work
published they must not jeopardize the grants of their peers by solving the
problem. It is almost against the law to
find a solution or cure. Researchers will study one minute part of the
problem instead of trying to recreate the syndrome on paper first. Any
architect or engineer starts with a blueprint or drawing knowing where
they are headed. In medicine it is like the old joke of the group of blind
people describing an elephant-each from their own tiny perspective of the
appendage they were holding and all totally oblivious to the big picture from
their vantage point on the ground.
Cure
is an inappropriate goal in reference to autoimmune syndromes. They cannot be cured because they are not diseases in
the classic sense with an identifiable and re-infectable pathogen. They
are chronic poisonings that respond to nutritional detoxification and
restriction of exposure to chemicals, especially chlorine compounds, in the home
and workplace. We don't have all the answers yet, but we are making
headway instead of blaming the problem on demons.
